HAERAN FISSEHA
FOUNDER, CHAIR PERSON
Haeran is an Operations professional with over 20 years of experience managing global supply chain projects as well as new product launch at Fortune 500 companies including Oracle, Apple, and General Motors. She has hands-on Operations experience managing strategic suppliers in Asia, as well as program managing complex new product launches in the consumer industry. Haeran is dedicated to uplifting the most negelected communities in Ethiopia. She has been leading Dir Biyabir since it's founding, with the exception of the years 2017-2019.
Haeran holds an MS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.

Kristine is a finance professional with over 30 years of experience across banking, public accounting, and corporate finance. She has worked at major corporations including Wells Fargo, Apple, and Ernst & Young. As a Senior Manager in Finance and Operations Finance, she garnered extensive experience supporting global expansion, pricing, channel management, manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics.. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University. After retiring, she continues to contribute her expertise in financial stewardship to causes she is passionate about.

Sam Smith
Sam is an accomplished Operations professional with extensive experience spanning more than 20 years across Manufacturing, Finance and the Service industry. His career includes a 19-year tenure at Apple and 6 years at numerous industrial companies. Sam has been actively involved in non-profit work, serving as a board director and past President for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Sierra. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Cal State University, East Bay.
Dr. Alemtsehay Tsegaye
Dr Alemtsehay Tegaye is a medical doctor having graduated from University College London with an MBBS. She has worked in the British National Health Service for almost 30 years. Her passion is supporting humanitarian causes including those in health and disaster relief through different platforms.
